Sometimes, God answers our prayers in ways we could never have imagined.

My love story began in a way that, at the time, seemed so simple: with an app called SALT.

I am Brazilian and was living in London. He is Irish and was living in Ireland. Two people from different countries, different cultures, and different backgrounds, who could never have imagined that their paths would cross.

But God already knew.

It all began on 11 June 2025, on my birthday.

At that point in my life, I had very little hope of finding someone. To be completely honest, I was almost ready to give up. I decided to try SALT perhaps one last time, with just a little hope that I might find someone who was honest, genuine, sincere in his intentions, and truly wanted to build a future together.

And then I saw his photo.

We matched.

Shortly afterwards, he sent me a message.

And that first message began something neither of us could have imagined.

From that day on, we never stopped talking.

Through our conversations, we slowly discovered who we were. We shared our stories, our dreams, our values and, most importantly, our faith first.

Then came the day when we moved from the screen and met in person.

And what had started on SALT became real.

We met.

We started dating.

We got engaged.

And on 26 August 2026, just over a year after that first match, we got married in a civil ceremony.

Today, I can say with a heart full of gratitude:

I found my soulmate. I found the man of my life. I found my husband.

And it all started on SALT.

That is why I also want to dedicate this testimony to the entire SALT team.
