Most dating apps are transactional by design: browse, like, message, repeat. That works fine if all you want is a match. But it can leave single Christians feeling like they’re on their own, even while using an app built for connection.
SALT was made by Christians, for Christians, with a different starting point: community matters as much as finding a spouse. Alongside the matching experience, we’ve built spaces where members can show up as themselves. Ask for advice, share a laugh, or just listen in — no swiping required.
SALT Social: your in-app community feed
SALT Social is a shared feed where members post, comment, and connect beyond their own matches. Think of it as the place where SALT starts to feel less like an app and more like a community.
On SALT Social, members can:
- Share a song, a photo, a question, or a thought
- Comment and reply on other members’ posts
- Ask for advice from the wider community
- Visit another member’s profile from their post and send a like or an Intro
If you’d rather keep a lower profile, you can post anonymously. This is a SALT Premium feature. It lets you take part in the conversation without it being tied to your profile.
Table: live audio events, every week
Table is SALT’s live audio events platform. Around 10–12 events run every week, hosted by members of the SALT community. Topics range from faith and dating to hobbies, current affairs and comedy.
You can listen along quietly, raise your hand to join the conversation, or just chat in the group window. Table events are hosted mostly by everyday members of the SALT community. Conversations feel like the kind you’d have with a friend, not a webinar.
You don’t have to be “actively dating” to belong here
Some members join SALT with only the spouse goal in mind. Others join simply wanting to find their people — Christians who get it, without having to explain themselves. Both are welcome.
We don’t think singleness is something to fix. We don’t think community is a consolation prize while you wait for a relationship.

Do I need SALT Premium to use SALT Social or Table? No — both SALT Social and Table are available to all SALT members for free. Posting anonymously on SALT Social is a SALT Premium feature, but browsing, posting, and commenting are free for everyone.
What kind of topics come up on Table? Table events cover a wide range of topics, including faith, dating, singleness, relationships, hobbies, sport, comedy and current affairs. Hosts choose their own topics, so no two weeks look the same.
Can I join SALT just for the community, without actively dating? Yes. Plenty of members use the Table website to simply to connect with other Christians. It’s downloading the app that is a clearer signal you’re open to dating.
