At SALT, we’re all about creating meaningful connections, whether that’s in dating or in building a strong, faith-based community. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor Holy Trinity Clapham’s (HTC) football team!

The HTC football group is a fantastic way for people to come together outside of Sunday services, offering a weekly five-a-side game that welcomes all skill levels. The team currently plays every Monday at 8pm at Nine Elms Powerleague, and once a month, they take on a 9-a-side game on Saturdays. During peak season, multiple teams compete several times a week. Plus, it’s not all about the competition—post-match shandies help players catch up and build friendships off the pitch.

Football is more than just a sport; it’s a way to build camaraderie, stay active, and deepen friendships in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. At HTC, the football team has become an integral part of the church community, providing a space where people can bond over their shared love for the game and their faith. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just looking for a casual kickabout, everyone is welcome to join in.

HTC’s football team has also made a mark in local Christian competitions, finishing second in the London Churches Tournament in 2022. Their success is a testament to the dedication and team spirit that this group fosters. We love seeing the community thrive through sport, and we want to continue supporting initiatives like this!
