… if God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31
Romans 8:28
Phil 2:5-11, 12-13
@Jonatan Yeah I love the way this passage is is inspiring & not an exhortation to look busy because Jesus is coming, but instead to faithfully work together because of what Christ has already done for us Paul teaches us for a different kind of Groupthink, in which in our relationships with one another, to have the same mindset as Christ Jesus & adopt a mindset of humility & service to others.
The less conscious we are of ourselves the more Christ-like we become. Humility is a virtue not a weakness & through humility, true greatness is achieved, as demonstrated by God's exaltation of Jesus. Similarly in Matthew 11:29 - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek & lowly in heart: & ye shall find rest unto your souls.
@Jonatan It is a call for Christians to follow the example of Jesus, who humbled himself to save humanity.
In all your ways acknowledge Him & He will direct your path-Proverbs 3:6
Acts 20:22-24 "And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God."
No me heches delante de ti y no quites de mi tu santo espiritu. Salmo 51,11
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28 A scripture that sits with me in every season of life
Galatians 3: 1-3 1 You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. 2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard? 3 Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?
Ga 6:2
Psalm 91 A psalm of protection
Psalm 150
Psalms 46:10 NIV [10] He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The number of times God has shown up for me - when I decide not to lean on my own understanding and put my trust and faith in Him.
Jeremiah 29:11 ❤️
Psalm 16:11❤️
Psalms 91 especially that part where God charges his angel over us to protect us from falling. As a kid I climbed tall tress and fell from the top of a 🌳 tree 🌳 taller then a house 🏠 and about to smash my head open and definitely meet God. And at the very last brunch angels grabbed my shoes and wrapped them around the last branch. Many people probably thinking why save me but praise God he did lmao 🤣
First Corinthians chapter 13❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Psalms 34:1 - I will extol the Lord at all times , His praise will always be on my lips 🤭
John 11:35 "Jesus wept." I actually wrote an article centered around this very verse.
Romans 8:28 NKJV [28] And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
1 Samuel 16:7
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength. This has gotten me through a lot of hard times in my life
Phili 3:8-9 NASB ...I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him...
Purpose of a christian life, to know Him and to love Him 🥰
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NLT [7] “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. [8] They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.
My favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. This verse always reminds me to trust in God no matter what. Even when things seem bleak he always knows what is best for me. Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
Since David mentioned Habakkuk when posting this, I'll also go with Habakkuk. For me it's chapter 3:17-19. Basically right at the end. Whatever circumstances make up our "Even though" statements, I love that we can all still say the"Yet" part of verse 18 too. God is still faithful, good, and never changes. ❤️
@Kelly I love that too x
“… Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6) Just as God took His ‘Divine Initiative’ to regenerate my heart, enabling me (and the rest of His ‘elected’ sheep) to respond in faith to His work of grace…He also now continually preserves me with the assurance that He will bring me safely to the end, where my future inheritance awaits me.
@Melissa I love that too x
You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you Job 22:28
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD.
My favorite verse is unique: “And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.” Genesis 1:29 ESV
@Brian wow now that quite the uniquely unusual favorite verse. I really like it. Curious to know what makes it your favorite though
Íme a 91. zsoltár angol nyelven (King James Version – KJV): --- Psalm 91 (KJV):
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55: 8-9
Wow now that's a good deep one. Haven't heard for a while. It just goes to show that the fact that God's understanding and actions are beyond human comprehension and that His ways are ultimately for the good of His people and to trust in His omniscience and benevolence. I'm curious to know why it's it's your favorite verse and hope you will tell me
Jeremías 33:3 💥
@Monica Jeremiah 33:3 NET [3] ‘Call on me in prayer and I will answer you. I will show you great and mysterious things which you still do not know about.’

Matthew 6:33 NIV - But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
I love this verse because (everything) we need in life is found in The Kingdom of Heaven and if we stay in right standing with God (they’ll) be added unto us !
“Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.” Isaiah 59:1 It always gives me hope to keep on dwelling in his presence
