Too much choice on dating apps?!

I actually find it tempts you to lower your standards

Communication is key! If I match with someone who doesn’t talk, I unmatch. Not being picky, but it’s an insight into their character and priorities

The app could perhaps make it easier for people to connect. How about letting people connect directly through the Social part of the app?

It’s not about having too many or not enough options. Allowing yourself to be publicly put on display isn’t easy, and no one can manipulate you into choosing who to trust. Some of us have been hurt before. Christian app or not there are many wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Sometimes I hear things at church or read things in women’s profiles here that make me forget I live in the same world, with the same faith. And I find myself wishing I could live in that world instead. I just hope I never have to share my own experiences with anyone—because they’re really not good.

I find people desperately need attention and love. The difficulty is previous experiences make an actual relationship anxiety provoking. As soon as a relationship looks to be going anywhere the fear of rejection/failure is so strong that’s people find it easier to reject. They then get their quick fix of genuine need of excitement/attention by starting with someone else. The pattern repeats and repeats. Other people get damaged in the process and fearful of the rejection too 😢We need to heal ❤️

I think its more a problem of quality over quantity! When you say you are a Christian App but then dont adhere to biblical standards it makes finding a true partner no easier than a secular dating app or real world dating 😕

That might all depend where you live - in my area there are very few people on here.

I’m always open to chat with different people The world is so small. You never know who God can use to reach you. Close mindedness should be resisted with passion on dating app. Discernment is also needed to know if the person you are talking to is genuine or not. It’s never just to date, you never know 🤷🏾‍♀️ I rest my case✨
