I no longer feel like I am falling behind, as I moved on and left what was actually holding me back.

I always feel like that but I still sit down and differentiate my past from my present life and appreciate God for helping me through the challenges I have overcome. God help us all and he will still be faithful God.

Those of you who are younger may feel behind or left out, but things aren't always as they appear or the way you would like them to be. You could get married young but end up divorced through no fault of your own. You just never know. Nothing is certain except Jesus and death.

Yeah, I do struggle with that. I was diagnosed with severe Lyme disease combined with long covid, and it’s almost taken my life several times. Because of that I am temporarily disabled and it’s discouraging sometime to see everyone around me passing me by

Yes - and it’s compounded by friends being much harder to catch up with, which can lead to isolation. That is actually worse than the feeling of missing out on building a life with someone, having a family etc.

At times I feel like everything around me changes but not my life. In a way it is strange to see more and more younger people in my bible study group, while the older members get married or have children and of course they can't dedicate the time. Also in my circle of friends as well, they become married and have no more time.

Yes. Once upon a time, I did feel I was behind in life compared to my peers. But, I have always trusted God's timing and also remembered that our destiny in life is an individual journey. Reading your statement, I am reminded of how God turned things around for me in a matter of 2 years. I am at a good place in life now (yet to find my kingdom husband). God's timing is perfect, and everything He has promised will always come to pass. Stay blessed.
