and oh how we wish we had!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s a (fake) conversation between two people where there\u2019s quite a few potential issues from his side &#8211; and what our users on SALT SOCIAL think of these red flags!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-red-flag-1-doesn-t-prioritize-faith\">Red flag #1: Doesn&#8217;t prioritize faith<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L: Hey Phil, love the banjo in your profile pic.&nbsp; How long you been playing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P: Hey Laura, way too long!&nbsp; Since I was 10 years old, my dad taught me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L: Wow, that\u2019s great!&nbsp; Maybe I\u2019ll hear you play some time \ud83d\ude09 What you up to this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P: Oh just working lots.&nbsp; Got any fun weekend plans?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L: Just chillin.&nbsp; Mum coming to town on Sunday, might go out for a cheeky meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P: Nice.&nbsp; I\u2019m gonna be going surfing in Lake Tahoe.&nbsp; I find surfing is a great way to express my faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L: Oh that\u2019s interesting!&nbsp; How so?<br><br>P: When the waves crest really high, I can see the top of the church building.&nbsp; Thought maybe I\u2019d go there someday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L: Do you go to church anywhere?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P: Not at the moment, no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L: Any reason why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P: Just not sure what I believe about that stuff.&nbsp; Like if the Bible is true?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P: Well, not sure about that either.&nbsp; Maybe just like the teachings of Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cSomeone who doesn&#8217;t believe the bible is true or doesn&#8217;t aspire to be like Jesus\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>-Vikki<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-red-flag-2-arrogance\">Red Flag #2: Arrogance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L: I see.&nbsp; That\u2019s good then, I suppose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P: Yeah.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L: So\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P: I also love going out to eat and going for walks, but I can\u2019t stand the weather here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L: Yeah me neither.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P: The rain sucks, you know?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L: Yeah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cSomeone who constantly talks about themselves and whines all the time\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>-Parry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P: I\u2019m a pretty good surfer, too.&nbsp; I made the Amateur Surf Tour three years in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L: Wow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P: Yeah. Most girls get intimidated when they talk to me because of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L: Do they?<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cMine would be pride.
