I&#8217;m from Bangor, Northern Ireland and she had travelled all the way from Chicago to help the homeless here. Despite the distance and our different backgrounds, we connected instantly through our shared faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Things moved quickly and clearly for us:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">August: We met on SALT. December: We got engaged just six months after meeting. March: We were married only three months after the engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We just celebrated our one year wedding anniversary on March 20th, and we truly couldn&#8217;t be happier.
