In this blog post, we\u2019re sharing some statistics about dating from 2025 to give you the evidence you need to <a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/websiteurl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">download that dating app<\/a> in order to find success in dating in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-stigma-of-dating-apps\">Stigma of Dating Apps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re living in an age of reluctant daters on dating apps. Dating apps no longer have the same stigma attached to them as they had 10 years ago. They\u2019re no longer seen as a place for desperate weirdos to prey on vulnerable people. Instead they have millions of users worldwide and are seen as a valid way to meet a long-term partner and find success in dating. In fact, in 2024, it was found that \u2018the overwhelming majority met on dating apps\u2019 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theknot.com\/content\/online-dating-most-popular-way-to-meet-spouse\">The Knot 2024 Jewelry &amp; Engagement Study<\/a>). But despite the overwhelming statistics, the attitude of users on dating apps still seems to be one of \u2018reluctance\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How Couples Meet? Data from 1930 to 2024\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ArlY8EKc8Vw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-salt-dating-app-survey-2025\">SALT Dating App Survey 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We analysed 41,336 responses to questions relating to dating apps across November and December 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We found that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>81% of Christians would like to find a spouse within their own church<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>But&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>87% of Christians see the necessity of dating apps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>82% of Christians think dating apps will still be around in 10 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It seems we cannot stop romanticizing relationships. Of course it would be lovely and ideal to meet your future spouse in the flesh rather than online. That&#8217;s currently our idea of success in dating. With the hopes of daters being intrinsically linked with their ideals and idea of romance, I guess it makes sense that we have a few reluctant users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe it\u2019s time to stop being romantic and start being realistic.
