Refresh. Scroll. Don\u2019t think about it. Check other things. Nope. Refresh again. Nothing yet. Keep waiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step away, Jim. Go read your Bible. Go for a walk. Listen to Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026right after one more refresh. Oh look a new message! Is it her? No, it\u2019s Uncle Zane, wishing me a happy birthday. Thanks Unc\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Sigh.<\/em> Maybe she\u2019s busy. It\u2019s the weekend, but she might be out of town. Or playing hot\/cold or still asleep or feeling suffocated. Or hanging out with her family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe she just isn\u2019t that into me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take a shower. The water will heal me, I\u2019m sure. Get myself together. Grab my clothes, stand in the tub, get the temperature right, close my eyes\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ugh. The water\u2019s rubbing my skin the wrong way. Hurry up. Do the hair, do the body, do the face, wash it off, towel up, dry off, clothes on, sit back down, refresh the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nothing. Of course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can\u2019t keep this up. Need to clear my head. That walk in the garden sounded nice, I\u2019ll try that. Shoes on. Out the door. Sun rays feeling great on my skin. I can breathe a little.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inhale\u2026.exhale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tree in my back garden sprawls out dozens of feet above me, covering almost the entire garden in its reach. I love it, almost feels like I\u2019m in the forest. Its leaves are starting to fall, I wonder what colour they\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OUCH! Tripped up on something metal, what the heck!? What is this? Just the corner of some sort of metal box\u2026I didn\u2019t put this here\u2026 is it buried? Who in the world put this\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is just too weird. I need a shovel. Let\u2019s see what\u2019s in this thing. I think I have one in the shed, let me look\u2026 Past the walls of cobwebs and spiders, ugh I really need to clear this thing out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alright, digging. Haven\u2019t dug anything up in years &#8211; my landlord is gonna kill me. Uni has been so tedious recently, worth the risk to find out what this thing is. I\u2019ll fill the hole later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kind of hard to get through here, who knew digging was such hard work? Oh well, let\u2019s keep going, almost there\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It looked really heavy but actually it\u2019s quite light, now that I have it out. Gotta break a lock? No wait, it\u2019s a combination lock. Might as well try my normal combin\u2026. Oh. Oh wow. Can\u2019t believe that worked. What\u2019s in this thing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stack of papers. \u201cWisdom from your future\u201d. So creepy, but\u2026. Let\u2019s read some\u2026 SALT SOCIAL? What is that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-wisdom\">The wisdom<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Relationships take work, it\u2019s not always fun. You have to understand each other\u2019s triggers and quirks too &#8211; they may not be likable all the time! Make a commitment from the start and stick with it so you\u2019re both on the same page.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Zoe<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well I\u2019m committed to her, so I don\u2019t know what that\u2019s about\u2026wait, why am I assuming this is for me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>I guess it&#8217;s better to keep expectations more or less &#8220;on the ground&#8221; rather than &#8220;in the clouds&#8221; when dating someone until both have shown real interest and they have spent enough time getting to know each other to avoid hurting the other person&#8217;s heart.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-John<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I see. Yeah I guess she doesn\u2019t know me yet, but I\u2019m on her case like she does. Man, I screw up everything!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Be kind &amp; compassionate to your undeveloped self. It&#8217;s ok to make mistakes.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Maggie<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lord, how did you know I needed to hear that? That\u2019s you, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Start healing now from past trauma. Don\u2019t wait until your 30s.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Alicia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Can I be healed? Is that even possible? Where do I even start?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>It\u2019s okay to ask for help. The world is so big and God has called us to be in community so step out and ask! \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Courtney<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s right. I can\u2019t do this alone. Maybe I can get through this. Perhaps life won\u2019t be this lonely, desperate struggle. Maybe I actually have some value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Accept that we all have flaws and difficult personalities at times and not always perfect!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Amir<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even me, God? Even me, who is so insecure and so full of rage and is tired, oh so tired of everything being so difficult? Maybe there\u2019s a way through this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe I am enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Trust your gut &#8211; His gentle voice. If you\u2019re seeking the Lord on something, and there\u2019s still a niggle or a little voice in the background &#8211; listen to it!!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Paul<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m all ears, Jesus. I don\u2019t know what this all is, but I\u2019m yours, and I\u2019m here. Look at me, crying in my own garden.
